TECHNICAL DATA AND SPECIFICATIONS:

The Cleanvironment® Cleaning solution is a combination of enzymes in a solution of emulsifiers, surfactants, wetting agents, optic brighteners, anti-rust inhibitors and cleaners, that produce a safe non-toxic, non-caustic, biodegradable cleaning solution. The solution safely cleans the discoloration on ceilings and walls caused by layers of soil pollutants bonded to the surface by amino and fatty acids. On porous surfaces, the enzyme eliminates the amino and fatty acids(bonders), and the cleaning agents break down the soils and films into particles so small, that they are reverted back to the atmosphere, never to soil again. On non-porous and semi-porous surfaces, the solution breaks the soils and films into fine beads and droplets that are sponged or wet vacuumed off the surface. This is an excellent wet clean system for hospitals and restaurants.

Guaranteed Safe: Properly used, The Cleanvironment® Solution is guaranteed not to harm synthetic drapes, carpets or furniture. It is non-toxic, bio-degradable, odorless and contains no bleach or heavy oxidizers.

  1. General:
The restoration specialist shall comply with recommendations of the manufacturer of the restoration products in regard to their proper use and protecting any surfaces which may experience a negative reaction upon contact.
  2. Protective Measures:
The restoration specialist shall take measures to protect persons, surrounding surfaces of the building being restored, the building site and surrounding areas from injury or damage resulting from the restoration service.
    Further, the restoration specialist shall:
    • Take measures to prevent restoration products from coming into contact with pedestrians and other surfaces which could be injured or damaged by such contact.
    • The restoration service shall take place at a time where only service personnel equipped with positive pressure breathing apparatus are in the work area.
  3. Restoration process, Procedure:

    A. The restoration process shall be conducted in an orderly, workmanlike manner.

    B. Execute the use of the restoration materials in accordance with this section.

    C. Procedure:
    • Use approved dropcloths to cover all furniture and fixtures in the section to to be restored. Remove all copiers and laser printers from the area prior to beginning work.
    • Position the compressor for the breathing apparatus in an area away from the work area to insure a constant source of fresh air.
    • Pour equal parts of Bio-CleanseTM Parts 1 & 2 into a plastic bucket beginning with part 1, then part 2. Add 4 parts of hot water. Pour solution into the sprayer.
    • Vacuum all HVAC diffusers and light fixture using an upholstery attachment. Vacuum additional areas where dirt particles are visible.
    • Begin by restoring the perimeter first. Position a crew member with an extension pole and over spray guard so that the guard is positioned in such a way to prevent over spray from contacting the wall surfaces. A second crew member wearing the backpack sprayer, should spray the Bio-CleanseTM mist onto the ceiling surface, holding the spray tip approximately 10" away from the ceiling. Do not soak the surface. Apply just enough spray so that surface is visibly wet. Spray with a 3-4 foot side to side, overlapping motion, working away from the wall. Do not spray so that you are walking into the mist. Continue until approximately a 10x10 area is complete.
    • Additional crew members should now detail the non-tile surfaces by hand using the extension poles equipped with an Unger Quick-Connect loaded with a heavy duty janitorial sponge. Drape a washcloth over the sponge and wipe the grids, lights and related non-tile surfaces. Continue moving the washcloth over the sponge as it becomes soiled. In the case of vinyl, metal pan and fiberglass ceiling tiles, they must be detailed in their entirety using this method.
    • Allow the area to dry prior to evaluating results achieved. If staining is still present, repeat process.
    • For water stains, (rust colored), use RE-NU cosmetic spray only after the tiles are dry. Follow manufacturer's label instructions to apply.
    • When service is complete, turn on the HVAC to high and allow sufficient time for fresh air to circulate and for the ceiling to dry prior to allowing the area to be reoccupied without respiratory protection.
